Everyone wants to have a good health but life is full of temptations, whether it be tasty food, social media, and lack of time for exercise. All of these causes make your health worse. So, I would like to introduce you to some simple tips on how to make a good health.
1. Choose the right food
We can’t deny that food is important to the body. Our body can be positively and negatively affected by the food we choose since the body uses nutrients from the food we take to build new cells and repair old cells. So, you should reduce high-calorie foods intake including grilled or deep fried foods and unhealthy high-fat foods. If your body can’t use up the fat, the remaining fat will be stored and accumulated all over the body. The best way is to eat 5 food groups in the right amount and choose a healthful diet.
2. Exercise the brain
Doing brain exercises is another way to promote a good health. Try to play brain training games like crossword, picture memory game, spot differences game, Sudoku, Chinese chess, and etc. Besides, try to eat more oranges, grapes and berries since these fruits contain a lot of antioxidants and help reduce forgetfulness. Laughter also helps increase blood flow. As you laugh, your body secretes chemical substances in the nervous system that make you feel relaxed. And this provides a positive impact to your body and mind. Moreover, when you’re happy, all the people around you will be happy too.
3. Take a break from social media
Nowadays, people always take pictures and post them on social media, share news and events to make sure that they’re in trend. Social media is good, if consumed in the right way and in the right amount. Spending too much time on social media can make you addicted. It also causes eyestrains, dry eyes and fatigue symptoms because you keep staring at the screen for a long time. Furthermore, it can cause scatterbrain, blurred vision and lead to myopia. So, you’d better rest your eyes and do some eye exercises such as winking and rolling your eyes to prevent dry eyes or looking away from the screen to relax your eyes. And it would be nice if you can reduce your social media time so that you won’t be stressed by the news and will also achieve a better mental health.
4. Exercise and workout
Exercise not only leads to a good health— as it makes your body’s internal organs function efficiently— it also boosts the immune system and keeps you away from diseases and your mental health will be improved. You should exercise at least 30 minutes each day after work. Try walking, running, doing aerobics or exercising at a park near your house to maintain healthy. But if you don’t have time to exercise, doing housework like gardening, sweeping the house or washing your car can also help. By doing housework, you can get your house cleaned and tidied too.
5. Get enough rest
After a long day routine, you need to relax and the best way to do so is to sleep. Sleeping allows your body to fully recharge and recover. You should sleep 8 hours a day and keep your bedtime routine consistent. Getting a better night’s sleep allows you to stay refreshed and active throughout the day as well as improve your health.
Now, you can see how these simple tips can make you healthy. Easy, isn’t it? You may need a little effort in the first step but we guarantee no efforts go to waste and benefits are what you will get!
